Your team's day, at a glance.

Sample team, today: Sofia in London 5h 35m, Arjun in Bengaluru 7h 30m, Maya in New York 2h 20m, Kenji in Tokyo 7h 15m. This week by project: Northwind 44 hours, Acme 31 hours, Halden Studio 18 hours, Internal 9 hours.

Hours count themselves.

Nobody has to remember a timer. Pick how a day is counted and watch the same sample day change.

  • A day ends on its own at midnight, or after 2 hours with no activity. There is no 8-hour cutoff: every active minute counts.
  • Coming back the same day picks up where you left off, unless you pressed End my day.
  • On team plans, anything past 12 hours in a day waits for a quick review.
  • For people without a shift, the admin picks Automatic or One tap, and each person can change their own.

Your timesheet is already done.

Time lands on the right project and client as people work, so Friday is a review, not a reconstruction.

Every hour lands on a project, and every project shows its budget before it runs over.

  • Schedules

    Team and up

Fixed, varied or flexible hours, in each person's time zone, overnight included.

  • Requests, approvals and balances, without a spreadsheet.

  • Approvals

    Team and up

Timesheets and added hours, one at a time or all at once.

  • Attendance

    Team and up

Hours against the schedule. Breaks shown, never scored.

  • Overtime window

    Team and up

Counting carries on up to 60 minutes after a shift, if your team allows it.

  • Who's working now

    Starter and up

Live status and today's hours for the whole team.

  • Hours matched to each client by their website, with budgets.

  • What each client earns you, and client reports.

  • CSV exports

    Solo and up

    Timesheets ready for invoices.

  • Each person's own day, seen by them first.

  • Your AI assistant

Ask Ruam from Claude, ChatGPT or Grok. In closed beta.

  • Web, Chrome, Mac and Windows

The Windows app comes from the Microsoft Store.

  • After a quiet stretch, Ruam asks what you were doing, so a call away from the keyboard can still count.

  • One tracker counts at a time, so the web clock, Chrome and Mac never double up.

  • Added hours

    Team and up

Forgot to start? Add past work, and it goes for approval.

  • Shift changes

    Team and up

One-off changes, change requests, and each person's shifts in their own calendar.

  • Daily and weekly summaries, a manager digest, and alerts for late starts or a silent tracker.

  • 1:1 view

    Team and up

One person's period before a 1:1. Breaks shown, never scored.

  • How the team feels, only ever as an average of five or more people.

  • Sites and apps your team never records.

  • Ticket numbers

    Solo and up

Ticket keys picked up from page titles, so hours land on the right task.

  • Your data, any time

Export your own data whenever you like. An audit log shows who changed what.

Paid plans export hours as CSV, by person or by project, and Business adds CSV by client. Compare plans

Your team sees their day first.

Automatic doesn't mean watched. Each person gets a Logbook of their own day: the sites and apps they used, and for how long. They see it first and choose what to share. If they don't review it by the date shown, your team's sharing setting decides.

Ruam records

  • Hours worked, during work time only
  • Status and breaks
  • The site name and page title during work time, shown to the person first

Ruam never records

  • Screenshots or screen recordings
  • Keystrokes or mouse movements
  • Your camera or microphone
  • What's inside your files
  • Full web addresses

Managers never see page titles. Your team always sees hours, status and breaks.

Ask Ruam from the AI assistant you already use.

Connect Ruam to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok and ask about your team's time in plain words. Your assistant gets the access you have in Ruam, nothing more.

  • Every plan can ask. From Team up, it can also make changes, and it asks you first.
  • It gets hours, names and short notes. Never sites, page titles, break times or leave reasons.
  • Disconnect any time, and it stops on the very next question.
