See the work. Not the worker.

Ruam helps teams know where the time goes without watching anyone. It's built by a founder who has been on both sides of time tracking software: the freelancer being tracked, and the manager who needed to know.

Self-funded and fully remote. Built by Kratuva Inc.

How Ruam started.

When I started freelancing, clients asked me to install tracking software that took screenshots of my screen.

Later I managed remote teams of my own, from 2020 on, and in 2023 I started a cold email agency: team members in India and the Philippines, partners in the US, cold callers in the US and Europe. I wanted everyone to know what was going on, who was working, which client the hours went to, and whether the week was on track. I needed to know my team showed up and did the work, and I refused to spy on them to find out.

Timers people had to remember never worked, and tools that watched people made things worse. So I built the tool I wanted: it counts hours on its own, sorts them by project, client and shift in each person's own time zone, and shows each person their own day first. Ruam's closed beta started in June 2026.

Why it's called Ruam.

รวม (ruam) is Thai for bringing things together. It also means the total: what everything adds up to.

That's what Ruam does with time. A working day comes in pieces: a call, a draft, a break, an hour that slipped by unnoticed. Ruam brings the pieces back together, so each person can see the whole shape of their day, and the hours add up on their own.

It brings people together too. A team spread across time zones shares one week, one set of shifts and one picture of the work, without anyone looking over anyone's shoulder. And for anyone who loses track of time, the day is right there to look back on.

Mission and vision

Most people hear “time tracking” and picture screenshots every ten minutes and someone reading over their shoulder. Ruam counts hours, not people. So when a team runs on Ruam, it tells the people who work there, and the people thinking of joining, that they're trusted with their own time.

Our mission

Give teams a clear picture of their time that the people doing the work are glad to share.

Our vision

A world where the way a company tracks time is a reason to join it, not to leave.

What we promise.

Four things Ruam keeps doing, whatever else changes.

  • No screenshots. Ever.

Ruam has no screenshot, keystroke, webcam or microphone feature, and never will. There is nothing to switch on.

    What Ruam records
  • No price per person.

Team plans are one flat price, however many people you add. Hiring someone never changes the bill.

    See the prices
  • Your data is not for sale.

Ruam does not sell customer data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI models.

    How data is kept safe
  • You see your day first.

Each person reviews their own sites and apps before anyone else. Managers never see page titles.

    How the Logbook works

How Ruam makes money.

From the people and teams who pay for it, and nowhere else. Ruam is self-funded, with no ads and no data deals. Free stays free for one person, and each paid plan is one flat price: Solo, Starter, Team and Business.

So Ruam only does well when your team gets something out of it.

Where Ruam is today.

The web app, the Mac and Windows apps and the Chrome extension are live, and our own work runs on Ruam every day. Everything that ships is on the changelog, and what's next is on the roadmap.
