What Ruam does
What is Ruam for, if it's just you?
A record of your own work day that only you see. Nobody is watching you: there's no manager and no screenshots, and nobody else sees your day unless you share it. Freelancers bill clients from it. Founders and remote employees use it to see where the week went. People who lose track of time use it to get their afternoons back. If you work at a computer and want to know where the hours go, it's for you.
Your day tracks itself.
On Solo, Ruam counts while you work and stops when you stop. On Free, one tap starts your day. Either way, there's no timer to babysit. Try both above.
Every hour, on the right client.
Hours land on projects and clients, so you can bill from them and see which client takes the most of your week. (Projects and exports come with Solo.)

Northwind took 44 hours this week. That is the number for the invoice.
A Logbook that's only yours.
See the sites and apps you used and for how long. It's your record. Share it with a client only if you choose to.

Review by Friday and choose what to share. After that, your team's sharing setting applies.
Built for brains that lose track of time.
If hours disappear on you, a timer you have to remember is the wrong tool. Ruam counts on its own and shows your day back to you, so "where did today go?" always has an answer. No streaks, no scores, no guilt.

On your computer today. On your phone soon.
Ruam counts the time you spend at your computer: the desktop app for Mac and Windows, the Chrome extension, or the web clock in any browser. It doesn't see time away from the computer yet. iPhone and Android apps are in progress.
Your data leaves when you do.
Export everything as CSV, or your whole account as JSON. No lock-in.

Try Ruam for freeStill not sure?
Does Ruam take screenshots or record keystrokes?
No. Ruam has no screenshot, keystroke, webcam or microphone feature. There's nothing to switch on.
Do I have to press anything?
Not unless you want to. On paid plans, Ruam can start your day for you, with no timer to remember, or you can keep one tap to start. On Free, one tap on Start my day begins it.
Does Ruam work with Claude or ChatGPT?
It's in closed beta now; email hello@ruam.ai for early access. Connect Ruam to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any assistant that supports MCP, and ask about your time in plain words. Every plan can ask questions; from Team up, it can also make changes you confirm. It only gets what you can see in Ruam: hours, names and short notes, never sites, page titles, break times or leave reasons.
Which devices does it work on?
Any browser with the web clock, Chrome with the extension, and the desktop app for Mac or Windows (from the Microsoft Store). iPhone and Android are coming soon.
Stop guessing at your hours.
Free forever for one person. Solo starts with 7 days free, no card.
